# The Retained Organs Commission (Establishment and Constitution) Order 2001, Article 3: Functions of the Commission


Subject to and in accordance with such directions as the Secretary of State may give, the Commission shall perform—
(a) such functions in connection with the removal, retention and storage of human tissue and organs, and
(b) such other functions,
as the Secretary of State may direct.
