  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Returning Officers' Expenses Regulations 1987. They prescribe, in relation to England, Wales and Scotland, a scale of maximum charges in respect of services rendered and expenses incurred by a returning officer for the purposes of or in connection with a parliamentary election where a local government election takes place on the same day as a parliamentary election.",
