# The Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the House of Commons 9th January 1990
Coming into force 26th January 1990
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 1(1) and (2) of Schedule 4 to the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with such associations of local authorities as appear to him to be appropriate in accordance with paragraph 2(2) of the said Schedule(a), and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
