LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SCOTLAND

Coming into force 20th February 1998

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 to the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987f1 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with such associations of local authorities as appear to him to be appropriate in accordance with paragraph 2(2) of the said Schedule, and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
