# The Riot Compensation Act 2016 (Commencement) Regulations 2017

S.I. 2017/379 · made 13 March 2017

These Regulations bring into force on 6th April 2017 all provisions of the Riot Compensation Act 2016 not already in force. Sections 11 and 12 came into force on the day on which the Act was passed (see section 12(2)).

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 12(1) of the Riot Compensation Act 2016:

## 1 Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Riot Compensation Act 2016 (Commencement) Regulations 2017.

## 2 Provisions coming into force on 6th April 2017

Sections 1 to 10 of, and the Schedule to, the Riot Compensation Act 2016 come into force on 6th April 2017.
