# The Riot Compensation Regulations 2017, Regulation 20: Payments for repairs instead of monetary compensation

An Authority may, instead of monetary compensation, arrange for repairs to be carried out on property that has been damaged and which is the subject of an ordinary claim, at the expense of the appropriate local policing body.
