# The River Tay Estuary Limits Order 1999, Introduction: Introductory text


RIVER, SCOTLAND
SALMON AND FRESHWATER FISHERIES
Made 22nd February 1999
Coming into force 1st March 1999
The Secretary of State, on application to him by the River Tay District Salmon Fishery Board, having consulted and directed that notice be given in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 to the Salmon Act 1986, as applied by section 7(5) of that Act, and there being no representations or objections made in respect of the application, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7 of that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
