  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order brings into force, on 21st May 2012, paragraph 24 of Schedule 6 to the Road Safety Act 2006 (“the 2006 Act”), Section 42 of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 6 to, the 2006 Act are also brought into force to the extent to which they relate to paragraph 24 of Schedule 6.\nParagraph 24 of Schedule 6 amends section 141 (regulations) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (c. 52) so as to widen the powers available to the Secretary of State when making regulations under Part 5 of that Act (including the power to make incidental and supplementary provision or different provision for different cases).",
