Section 9(5) of the 1974 Act enables the Secretary of State by regulations to make such amendments as he considers appropriate to take account of the preceding provisions of that section in any enactment which refers to any provision of sections 68 to 82 of the 1972 Act which was repealed by the 1974 Act.",
