  "text": "(1) A local traffic authority outside Greater London or a strategic highways company may make orders—\n(a) for determining the highways or, in Scotland, roads in their area which may or may not be used by public service vehicles;\n(b) for fixing stands for public service vehicles on such highways or roads;\n(c) as to the places at which public service vehicles may stop for a longer time than is necessary for taking up and setting down passengers; and\n(d) as to the manner of using such stands and places.\n(2) Any such order may be made—\n(a) so as to apply only to public service vehicles of a specified class, or\n(b) so as to have effect as respects a limited period only or as respects only limited periods in the year,\nand may make different provision for different classes of public service vehicles.\n(3) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .",
