# The Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005, Regulation 21: Prosecution by inspectors


(1) If authorised in that behalf by the Secretary of State an inspector may prosecute proceedings for an offence before a magistrates court even though the inspector is not of counsel or a solicitor.
(2) This regulation shall not apply in Scotland.
