  "text": "Without prejudice to the application of the provisions of paragraph 6, this Schedule does not apply to—\n(a) special purpose vehicles as defined in part A, point 5, of Annex I to the Type Approval Regulation;\n(b) multi-stage built vehicles belonging to category N1, provided that the base vehicle complies with this Schedule;\n(c) vehicles produced in medium or small series, referred to in Articles 41 and 42 of the Type Approval Regulation.",
