# The Road Vehicles (Authorised Weight) (Amendment) Regulations 2000, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 8th December 2000
Coming into force
for all purposes except the purposes of regulations 4 to 7 1st January 2001
for the purposes of regulation 6 1st February 2001
for the purposes of regulations 4, 5 and 7 1st January 2002
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
