# The Road Vehicles (Authorised Weight) (Amendment) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 2000/3224 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Laid before Parliament 23rd March 2001
Coming into force 17th April 2001
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
