  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend regulation 8 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 (“the 1986 Regulations”) so that the permitted maximum overall width of a refrigerated vehicle is increased from 2·58 to 2·60 metres.\nThe amendment is made in consequence of Council Directive 85/3/EEC of 19th December 1984 (OJ No. L2, 3.1.85., p.14) as amended by Council Directive 88/218/EEC of 11th April 1988 (OJ No. L98, 15.4.88., p.48). Copies of these EEC Directives can be obtained from Her Majesty’s Stationery Office.",
