# The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) Regulations 1987, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 7th April 1987
Laid before Parliament 15th April 1987
Coming into force
For the purposes of regulation 13 1st April 1988
For all other purposes 6th May 1987
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1972, now vested in him, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 199(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
