# The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) Regulations 2022, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 24th January 2022
Coming into force 14th February 2022
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41(1), (2)(a) and (5) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (the “1988 Act”).
Representative organisations have been consulted in accordance with section 195(2) of the 1988 Act.
