# The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) Regulations 2024, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 4th November 2024
Coming into force 25th November 2024
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41(1) and (5) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
The Secretary of State has consulted with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act.
