  "text": "1 Number:\nTwo\n2 Position–\n(a) Longitudinal:\nNo requirement\n(b) Lateral–\n(i) Maximum distance from the side of the trailer:\n150 mm\n(ii) Minimum separation distance between a pair of front reflectors:\n600 mm or, if the overall width of the trailer is less than 1400 mm, 400 mm\n(c) Vertical–\n(i) Maximum height above the ground:\n900 mm or, if the structure of the trailer makes this impracticable, 1500 mm\n(ii) Minimum height above the ground:\n250 mm\n3 Angles of visibility–\n(a) Horizontal:\n30° outwards and 5° inwards\n(b) Vertical–\n(i) Any case not covered by sub-paragraph (ii):\n10° above and below the horizontal\n(ii) Where the highest point of the reflecting area is less than 750 mm above the ground:\n10° above and 5° below the horizontal\n4 Alignment:\nTo the front\n5 Markings:\nAn approval mark\n6 Size of reflecting area:\nNo requirement\n7 Colour:\nWhite",
