# The Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2003, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st October 2003
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22(1)(c) and (d), (1B), (2) and (2A), 57(1) and 59(2)(a) of, and paragraph 24 of Schedule 2 to, the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
