  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002 to increase the fee payable in respect of first registration.\nThe Regulations provide that on the 1st April 2008 the first registration fee increases from £50 to £55 (an increase of 10%) (regulation 2).\nA full regulatory impact assessment of the effect that these Regulations will have on the costs of business and the voluntary sector is available from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, Finance Group, Longview Road, Morriston, Swansea SA6 7JL and is annexed to the explanatory memorandum which is available alongside the Regulations on the OPSI website, www.opsi.gov.uk. A copy of the assessment has also been placed in the library of each House of Parliament.",
