# The Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2018, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made partly in consequence of defects in S.I. 2015/403 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22(1)(a), (d), (e), (f), (h), (i), 22(1B), 22(2), 57(1), 57(2)(a), 57(3)(b), 57(5) and 59(2)(a) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994, makes the following Regulations.
