# The Road Vehicles Registration Fee Regulations 1998, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations provide that a vehicle must not be registered under Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 unless a fee of £25 is paid. Certain vehicles for disabled persons are exempt.
