Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and extent

These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Type-Approval) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

Subject to paragraph (3), these Regulations come into force on 7th March 2024.

In regulation 2(3)(b), the entries in the substituted table for “Emissions light duty vehicles (real driving emissions)” in item 2A come into force on 26th March 2024, except for the subject entry including note (3) (which accordingly comes into force on 7th March 2024).

These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
