  "text": "(1) Regulation (EU) 2015/758 is amended as follows.\n(2) In Article 5 (specific obligations of manufacturers)—\n(a) in paragraph 8, in the second sub-paragraph—\n(i) for items (a) to (d), substitute—\n“(a) EN 16072:2025 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — Pan-European eCall operating requirements’;\n(b) CEN/TS 17184:2022 or EN 17184:2024 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall high level application protocols (HLAP) using IP multimedia sub-system (IMS) over packet-switched networks’;\n(c) CEN/TS 17240:2018 or EN 17240:2024 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall end to end conformance testing for IMS packet-switched based systems’;\n(d) EN 15722:2020 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall minimum set of data (MSD)’;”;\n(ii) after item (f), insert—\n“Notwithstanding the standards specified in items (a) to (d) above, the manufacturer is permitted to conduct testing in accordance with the standards specified in the second column of the Table until the date specified in the third column, and to register those standards until the date specified in the fourth column.\nTable\nStandard referenced in paragraph 8\nAlternative standard\nNew types may be approved in accordance with the standard specified in column two until the date specified below\nFor new vehicles approved in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2015/758 and the standards specified in this table, the Secretary of State shall deem the certificates of conformity to be no longer valid for the purposes of Article 48(1) of Regulation (EU) 2018/858 from the date specified below\n(a)\nEN 16072:2015 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — Pan-European eCall operating requirements’\n31 December 2025\nN/A\n(b)\nEN 16062:2015 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall high level application requirements (HLAR)or EN 16062:2023 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall end to end conformance testing\n31 December 2025\n1 January 2027\n(c)\nEN 16454:2015 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall end to end conformance testing’ or EN 16454:2023 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall end to end conformance testing’\n31 December 2025\n1 January 2027\n(d)\nEN 15722:2015 ‘Intelligent transport systems — eSafety — eCall minimum set of data (MSD)’\n31 December 2025\nN/A\n”.",
