  "text": "(1) Regulation (EU) 2018/858 is amended as follows.\n(2) In Annex II (requirements for the purpose of GB type-approval of vehicles, systems, components or separate technical units)—\n(a) omit “Isofix anchorages systems and Isofix top tether anchorages”in each place it occurs;\n(b) in Part I (regulatory acts for GB type-approval of vehicles produced in unlimited series)—\n(i) in the first table, after the row for item 72, insert—\n“\n73\nChild restraint anchorages\nRegulation (EC) 661/2009\nUN Regulation No 14 or UN Regulation No 145\nX(16)\nX(16)\nX(16)\nX(16)\nX(16)\nX(16)\n74\nSystems replacing the driver’s input to controls\nOriginal version of UN Regulation No 157\nX\n”;\n(ii) in the explanatory notes following the first table, after note 15, insert—\n“(16) If reliance is placed on UN Regulation No 14, this must be in accordance with UN Regulation No 14.07. Compliance with UN Regulation 14.08 or later amendments is not acceptable for this subject.”;\n(bb) after note Z1, insert—\n“Z2 The minimum number of ISOFIX child seat anchorages need not be provided. In the case of a multi-stage type approval where an ISOFIX anchorage system has been affected by the conversion, either the system shall be re-tested or the anchorages shall be rendered unusable. In the latter case the ISOFIX labels shall be removed and appropriate information shall be provided in the vehicle owner’s manual for the completed vehicle.”.\n(3) After Annex XI (correlation table), insert—\n“ANNEX XII\nUN REGULATIONS REQUIRED FOR GB TYPE-APPROVAL\nTable 1 - List of UN Regulations referred to in Article 57 which apply on a compulsory basis\nRegulation Number\nSubject\nSeries of amendments\nScope covered by the UN Regulations\n157\nAutomated Lane Keeping Systems (ALKS)\nOriginal version of UN Regulation No 157\nM\nTable 2 - Scope of application of the requirements referred to in Article 57 - applicable categories per subject\nSubject\nM1\nM2\nM3\nN1\nN2\nN3\nO1\nO2\nO3\nO4\nSystems replacing the driver’s input to controls\nIF\nExplanatory notes:\nIF: Systems, separate technical units or components shall meet the requirements if fitted to the vehicle.”.",
