# Roads (Speed Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation

Extent: N.I.

(1) This Order may be cited as the Roads (Speed Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 24th March 1997.
(2) In this Order “the 1981 Order” means the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981.
