# Royal Ulster Constabulary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 28th June 2001
Coming into operation 1st August 2001
The Secretary of State, in pursuance of section 25 of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 1998, read with Articles 14 and 15 of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, and after consulting the Police Authority and the Police Association and, in accordance with section 62(3) of the Police Act 1996, the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom, hereby, with the concurrence of the Treasury, in accordance with section 72(2A) of the said Act of 1998, makes the following regulations:—
