Article 2 Interpretation
In this Order—
-
“the 2014 Order” means the Rugby Borough Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2014f1;
-
“ordinary day of election of councillors” has the meaning given by section 37 of the Representation of the People Act 1983f2;
-
“district ward” means a district ward established by article 3 of the Rugby (Electoral Changes) Order 2012f3.

The Rugby Borough Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2014 was made by Rugby Borough Council in exercise of powers under Part 4 of the 2007 Act. Orders of this kind are not required to be made by statutory instrument.
