# The Rules of Procedure (Army) (Amendment) Rules 1996, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 24th May 1996
Laid before Parliament 29th May 1996
Coming into force 1st July 1996
The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred on him by sections 103 and 104 of the Army Act 1955 and by paragraph 8(5) of Schedule 13 to the Criminal Justice Act 1988, hereby makes the following Rules:—
