# The Safeguarding Boards (General) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2018, Introduction: Introductory text

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the power conferred by section 134(3) of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, and after consulting the Safeguarding Board partners for the area in accordance with that section of that Act, make the following Regulations:
