# The Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2007, Article 3: Provisions coming into force on 2nd January 2008


2nd January 2008 is the day appointed for the coming into force in relation to England and Wales of section 1 (Independent Barring Board) of, and Schedules 1 and 2 (transfers to IBB) to, the Act.
