# Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006, Section 1: Independent Safeguarding Authority

Extent: E+W+N.I.

(1) There shall be a body corporate to be known as the Independent Safeguarding Authority (“ISA”).
(2) Schedule 1 makes provision relating to ISA.
(3) Schedule 2 (transfers to ISA) has effect.
