Article 3 Transitional provisions

Where proceedings for an offence of illegal fishing under section 2 of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act 1951^f1 were commenced but have not been completed before the coming into force of subsection (1A) of that Act and before the coming into force of the Salmon (Definition of Methods of Net Fishing and Construction of Nets) (Scotland) Regulations 1992 the offence shall continue to be dealt with, inquired into and tried and determined as if the said subsection (1A) and the said Regulations had not come into force.
