  "text": "(1) Council Regulation (EU) No 2017/1770, concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali is amended as follows.\n(2) In Article 1, omit points (c) and (i).\n(3) In Article 2, omit paragraphs 3 to 5.\n(4) In Article 3—\n(a) in paragraph 1—\n(i) for “Article 2, the competent authorities of the Member States” substitute “ regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017, the Treasury ”;\n(ii) for “the competent authority of the Member State concerned has” substitute “ the Treasury have ”;\n(iii) for “its” substitute “ their ”;\n(b) in paragraph 2—\n(i) for “Article 2, the competent authorities of the Member States” substitute “ regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017, the Treasury ”;\n(ii) for “the competent authority of the Member State concerned” substitute “the Treasury;\n(c) in paragraph 3, for “Article 2, the competent authorities of the Member States” substitute “ regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017, the Treasury ”;\n(d) omit paragraph 4.\n(5) In Article 4—\n(a) in paragraph 1—\n(i) for “Article 2, the competent authorities in the Member States” substitute “ regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations, the Treasury ”;\n(ii) in point (a), for “Article 2” substitute “ Annex I ”;\n(iii) in point (d), for “in the Member State concerned” substitute “ the United Kingdom ”;\n(iv) in point (e), for “the Member State” substitute “ the Treasury ”;\n(b) omit paragraph 2.\n(6) In Article 5—\n(a) in paragraph 1—\n(i) for “Article 2” substitute “ regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017 ”;\n(ii) for “the competent authorities of the Member States” substitute “ the Treasury ”;\n(iii) for “the competent authority concerned has” substitute “ the Treasury have ”;\n(iv) in point (b), for “Article 2(2)” substitute “ regulations 4 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017 ”;\n(v) in point (c), for “relevant Member State” substitute “ the Treasury ”;\n(b) omit paragraph 2.\n(7) In Article 7—\n(a) in paragraph 1—\n(i) in point (a)—\n(aa) after “this Regulation” insert “ or the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017 ”;\n(bb) for the words from “in accordance with” to the end of the point substitute “ , to the Treasury ”;\n(ii) in point (b), for “the competent authority” substitute “ the Treasury ”;\n(b) omit paragraph 2.\n(8) In Article 9—\n(a) in paragraph 1, after “this Regulation” insert “ or the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017 ”;\n(b) omit paragraph 2.\n(9) In Article 10—\n(a) in paragraph 1, after “this Regulation” insert “ or the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017 ”;\n(b) in paragraph 3—\n(i) for “judicial review of” substitute “ challenge ”;\n(ii) omit “in accordance with this Regulation”.\n(10) Omit Articles 11 to 14.\n(11) In Article 15, for “the Union” and “a Member State”, in each place these words occur, substitute “ the United Kingdom ”.\n(12) In Article 16, omit the words from “This Regulation shall be binding” to the end of the Article.\n(13) Omit Annex II.",
