# The Scheme for Construction Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 1998, Paragraph 7: Dates for payment


Any other payment under a construction contract shall become due on–
(a) the expiry of 7 days following the completion of the work to which the payment relates; or
(b) the making of a claim by the payee,
whichever is the later.
