# The Scheme for Construction Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 1998, Paragraph 8: Final date for payment


(1) Where the parties to a construction contract fail to provide a final date for payment in relation to any sum which becomes due under a construction contract, the provisions of this paragraph shall apply.
(2) The final date for the making of any payment of a kind mentioned in paragraph 2, 5, 6 or 7 shall be 17 days from the date that payment becomes due.
