# The School Admission Appeals Code (Appointed Day) (England) Order 2022, Article 2: Appointed day


The day appointed for the coming into force of the revised code issued by the Secretary of State under section 84(5) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (a copy of a draft of which was laid before each House of Parliament on 16th June 2022) is 1st October 2022.
