# The School Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2003, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2002/2978 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Education and Skills, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 12 and 210(7) of the Education Act 2002 hereby makes the following Regulations:
