# The School Companies Regulations 2002, Regulation 13: Circumstances where a governing body must withdraw from a school company


If a maintained school whose governing body is a member of a school company has its delegated budget suspended under section 17 of the 1998 Act then that school’s governing body must either:–
(a) reduce their involvement in the management of the company in accordance with regulation 32; or
(b) resign as a member of the company.
