# The School Companies Regulations 2002, Regulation 25: Initial functions of a supervising authority


When a local education authority becomes the supervising authority for a school company it must provide the Secretary of State with the following information, in writing, within 28 days of becoming the supervising authority:–
(a) the members of the company;
(b) the name and registered number of the company; and
(c) the fact that it is the supervising authority for the company.
