  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order brings into force the School Education (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2002. 26th February 2002 is the appointed day for section 1 which amends the law on placing requests for children under school age.\n22nd March 2002 is the appointed day for section 2 which makes provision relating to the abolition of the post of assistant headteacher. On that day all provisions of the Act are in force.",
