# The School Finance (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by sections 47, 49(2A) and 138(7) of, and paragraph 2B of Schedule 14 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998.
