This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in SI 2011/371 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45A and 138(7) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998f1:

1998 c. 31. Section 45A was inserted by section 41(1) of the Education Act 2002 (c.32) and amended by paragraph 3 of Schedule 16 to the Education Act 2005 (c.18), section 202 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (c..22) and S.I. 2010/1158.
