# The School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations 2012, Paragraph 7

Extent: E+W

Where the governing body makes an appointment under paragraph 6(2), having rejected any person nominated under paragraphs 1 or 2 as ineligible, they must give written reasons for their decision to—
(a) the local authority;
(b) the person or body who nominated the person rejected; and
(c) the person rejected.
