1996 c. 56. Relevant amendments to section 537 have been made by paragraph 37 of Schedule 7 to the Education Act 1997 (c.44), section 140(1) of, and paragraph 152(a) of Schedule 30 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (c.31), and article 5(1) of paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to S.I. 2010/1158.
