# The School Information (England) Regulations 2008, Regulation 7: Provision of information to the local authority by governing bodies


(1) Subject to paragraph (2), for the purpose of enabling a local authority to comply with their obligations under regulations 5 and 6 the governing body of every maintained school to be included in a composite prospectus must provide the local authority with the information specified in Part 2 of Schedule 2 no later than 8th August in the offer year.
(2) In relation to a school where the local authority is the admission authority, the governing body need only provide the information specified in paragraph 15 of Schedule 2 and any other information specified in Part 2 of that Schedule as is requested by the local authority.
