# The School Milk (Wales) Regulations 2001, Regulation 8: Applicable exchange rate


(1) For the purposes of calculating national aid in sterling, the National Assembly shall determine and may, subject to paragraph (2), periodically revise, the sterling / euro rate of exchange to be applied to the calculation.
(2) Prior to any proposed revision of the sterling / euro rate of exchange in accordance with paragraph (1), the National Assembly shall provide claimants with at least 14 days written notice of the revised rate to be applied.
