# The School Staffing (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2015, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 72(1) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 and sections 35(4) and (5) and 36(4) and (5) of the Education Act 2002:
