# The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (Modification) Regulations 1998, Regulation 8: Recoupment: excluded pupils


In relation to the relevant period, section 494 of the 1996 Act shall have effect as if references to a school maintained by a local education authority included a grant-maintained school or grant-maintained special school maintained by that authority pursuant to regulation 2 of these Regulations.
